The hazardous chemistry used in the chemical processing industry has created an increased need for corrosion resistant material. These corrosion resistant materials must be readily available, cost competitive, relatively easy to manufacture and fabricate - yet able to withstand the rugged applications encountered in hostile environments. Combining its engineering and chemical expertise. EPS has long been known as a leader in designing, manufacturing and installing the correct composite solutions for corrosion problems.

To service the need for all-weather, and more accurate testing, Enduro Systems, Inc. Composite Systems has developed Tuff-Span Structural Plastic Building Systems. Constructed entirely of fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) components, Tuff-Span EMI Test Enclosures provide the ideal test environment for the most sensitive and sophisticated electronic equipment. All building materials above the ground plane are non-conductive, non-magnetic, and R.F.-transparent.

Enduro GrateWay™ Fiberglass Grating is manufactured using a pultrusion process which produces the high strength structural bearing bars and locking spacer bars necessary for uniform strength. These component parts are made with continuous glass rovings and continuous strand mats to give bidirectional strength. In addition, all pultruded components are wrapped with a synthetic surfacing veil to give maximum corrosion resistance and protection from ultraviolet ray degradation. All of these materials are pulled through a resin bath containing a fire retardant resin with UV stabilizers. These are then pulled through a heated die which cures them into the final shape.
